Une semaine...

We've been in France for one week already! We still love our flat on Rue Francaise where we have a lovely view of the neighborhood...

But Mr Baby is getting a little tired of traveling, I think. Or maybe's it's just me. He requires gentle handling, lots of slow home time, playing, coddling, cookies, lollipops, bike rides, playing with cars and trains, cuddling on the couch, Peppa Pig, hot chocolate and more cuddling. Or maybe that's just me.

Regardless, it's been a fairly domesticated stay.

Here are the things we've done so far:

1. Gone to lots of parks, including the Jardin des Plantes, which was incroyable even though we were freezing cold. It's this dreamy botanical garden that also has a handful of children's rides, much to Mr Baby's delight.

2. Eaten baguettes and chocolatines every day
3. Had fromage frais and pears and coffee made in this great coffee maker for breakfast
4. Driven in downtown Toulouse twice without getting lost
5. Had quiche, pizza, croissants and cafe au lait from various boulangeries
6. Browsed the racks at Les Galleries Lafayette and even bought some perfume
7. Lounged around in our lovely flat, reading M. Gloutonne and M. Malchance

Here are the things we haven't done:
1. Eaten in a proper restaurant
2. Spent hours poking around in little boutiques
3. Sampled armegnac
4. Rented a bike
5. Gone to museum

Here are the things I want to do in the ten days we have left:

1. Drive to Carcasonne
2. Buy Mr Baby a new coat from a fancy French children's shop
3. Eat a sinful desert or pastry, something like this:

4. Go to the Toulouse Lautrec museum
