We've been a little isolated in France. It's a beautiful place, delicious food, the weather has been steadily warming up. But I'd be lying if I said we weren't just a little lonely.
The result is that we've been staying home a lot. In part, this has been to recuperate from all the walking around in cold weather in Spain, but in part it's because we were all (well, maybe not Mr Baby...) feeling a little gloomy. Traveling is fun and all, but sometimes you really miss friends and family.
In the past couple of days things have turned around. We managed to meet up with a friend who has a daughter the same age as Sacha.
We got out of the house and had a dreamy day in downtown Toulouse and the St Cyprian neighborhood. Yesterday I bought espadrilles and we went to a very cute vegetarian restaurant called Le Faim des Haricots.
A friend or two can make all the difference.....
